"Spacious townhouse for gatherings with family & friends"

This large, impressive property can accommodate up to 22 people and lends itself to any function, whether this is a wedding celebration, family gathering, hen or stag party, or a corporate function.

Ashbourne Hall is steeped in history. Bonnie Prince Charlie stayed the night at Ashbourne Hall in 1745, after proclaiming his father James III on Ashbourne Market place.

Ashbourne is a Derbyshire market town, often referred to as the "Gateway to the Peaks", and is situated on the southern fringe of the Peak District National Park.
Ashbourne Hall has ten bedrooms and eight bathrooms/wet rooms, stylishly decorated throughout. It maintains a contemporary feel, while retaining the essence of the building's history.

On the ground floor there is an impressive lounge, with large sofas and wall mounted TV, and a large dining conservatory with contemporary tables and chairs. This leads out to an enclosed courtyard, where you'll find garden furniture and a BBQ.
For the ultimate luxury, guests can use the hot tub in the private walled courtyard.

"We needed our mobiles to keep in touch!" by The Neill Family
We all enjoyed our stay at Ashbourne Hall very much. We were impressed by it and surprised at the space we had to fill - the website didn't do it justice! We needed our mobiles to keep in touch with each other from one end of the house to another. The children loved it and ran around all weekend finding nooks and crannies to play in. It was a very safe place for them and even the youngest 17 month old could be left to wander as he pleased. The teenagers enjoyed the privacy of such a large house too. The beds and bedrooms were very comfortable, the bathrooms excellent with great power showers.
We also had a great time visiting the park over the road and the water playground was a highlight for the little kids. Being so close to Ashbourne was excellent too.
"We've had an absolutely wonderful week" by Toni - August 2021
We were so happy to be able to holiday together and even more so in such a beautiful house. We are already talking about next year and so will definitely have a look at your other properties.
The house is fantastic and we would 100% recommend it to any large families/groups holidaying together. Your company has also been very easy to deal with and very helpful and responsive...thank you again.
"The best well appointed house we have stayed in" by The Palmer family
As a family who are spread around the whole of the UK with a mix of parents, children & grandchildren of all ages we meet once a year for a weekend get together. We have been doing this for over 25 years and Ashbourne Hall has been voted by the whole family as the best well appointed house we have all stayed in, the facilities, decor and the UK central location was just perfect, this coupled with the fact we could all sit down at meal times together in the huge dining room really made a difference. I would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone in a similar position as the whole weekend has something for everyone...a big thank you!
"Such great memories we took away..." by Gemma's hen party
I just want to thank you for such a wonderful weekend. Gemma was blown away with the size of the house , as we all were. The hot tub kept everyone entertained and the caterer provided a great supper for us. On the Saturday we walked into Ashbourne and loved the small shops and friendly people. We had such a great time, we already talking about coming back.
I want to thank you again for all your help in making this easy to arrange and for the great venue you provided. We will be back!
"What an incredible property!" by Amy & friends
What an incredible property! I know that lots of the other reviews mention it, but the photos really don't do it justice. The living room, kitchen, and conservatory are HUGE! There is so much space for everyone, and the decoration is tasteful and practical. The kitchen is a delight to cook in, and there are lots of utensils and beautiful crockery. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are absolutely stunning. The house is brilliantly located, right next to supermarkets, shops and lovely cafes. We were all so impressed with the property, and found it incredible value for money. We're very grateful that they catered so wonderfully to our friends' weekend away - the house was so big and lovely that we barely explored the pub scene of Ashbourne! Thank you!
"A wonderful stay" by Tracey - October 2023
We had a wonderful stay at the house. It was a perfect place for our get together. So spacious and such nice rooms.

We loved the area too but possibly didn't get to see as much as we would have liked to - so may have to come back.

Many thanks for everything - I would recommend your property and the company to anyone.
"We had a brilliant time" by Jane - January 2024
We hired the house for a hen weekend. There were 19 of us. The house is huge and very well appointed. Beds were comfortable. Huge lounge with the biggest sofa I have ever seen. Kitchen had everything you could ever need. Some of the group used the hot tub and said it was lovely. The house is only a 5 minute walk from the centre of Ashbourne with lots of little shops and cafes. It really is an amazing house and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here. The customer service team are friendly & helpful too. I had a few queries and my emails were always answered promptly and efficiently. Thanks for a fantastic weekend.
