"We needed our mobiles to keep in touch!"
by The Neill Family
.....We all enjoyed our stay at Ashbourne Hall very much. We were impressed by it and surprised at the space we had to fill - the website didn`t do it justice! We needed our mobiles to keep in touch with each other from one end of the house to another. The children loved it and ran around all weekend finding nooks and crannies to play in. It was a very safe place for them and even the youngest 17 month old could be left to wander as he pleased. The teenagers enjoyed the privacy of such a large house too. The beds and bedrooms were very comfortable, the bathrooms excellent with great power showers.
The rooms were soundproofed too, so even with the early morning noise downstairs,
the people sleeping downstairs were not woken up. Provision of blackout curtains was very welcome too, the children did'nt wake too early!
The house was spotlessly clean and tidy and we had everything we needed. Your housekeeper was brilliant and sorted out the very minor problem with the bed arrangements very promptly. Everyone enjoyed a fabulous weekend in the sunshine and the Hot Tub was very rarely empty of bodies. We also had a great time visiting the park over the road and the water playground was a highlight for the little kids. Being so close to Ashbourne was excellent too. We`ve been recommending Ashbourne Hall to anyone who will listen and it`s not surprising you`re booked up so far in advance!"
"The best well appointed house we have stayed in"
by The Palmer family
.... As a family who are spread around the whole of the UK with a mix of parents, children & grandchildren of all ages we meet once a year for a weekend get together. We have been doing this for over 25 years and Ashbourne Hall has been voted by the whole family as the best well appointed house we have all stayed in, the facilities, decor and the UK central location was just perfect, this coupled with the fact we could all sit down at meal times together in the huge dining room really made a difference. I would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone in a similar position as the whole weekend has something for everyone .... a big thank you!
"Such great memories we took away.."
by Gemma's hen party
I just want to thank you for such a wonderful weekend. Gemma was blown away with the size of the house , as we all were. The hot tub kept everyone entertained and the caterer provided a great supper for us. On the Saturday we walked into Ashbourne and loved the small shops and friendly people. We had such a great time, we already talking about coming back.
I want to thank you again for all your help in making this easy to arrange and for the great venue you provided. We will be back !
