If you are looking for a hen weekend with outdoor activities, Shiningford Manor can sleep up to 19 in 9 bedrooms. It has a lovely country feel, being next to Carsington Water, which offers cycling, walking, paddle boarding and raft building for the more adventurous hens.

The garden offers a private hot tub so you can sip champagne in the moonlight. During the warmer months enjoy the outdoor swimming pool at Shiningford. Don't forget to bring your inflatables!

If your numbers are closer to 23, then add on The Tack Room for an additional 2 en-suite bedrooms. Or for the ultimate hen do, book exclusive use of Shiningford for up to 35 ladies!

The Stables is fantastic for a more intimate hen party, sleeping 12 guests across 5 bedrooms, all of which have en-suite bathrooms. The Stables has its own private garden area and the all-important hot tub!

Shepherd's View Lodge can sleep up to 16 hens, across 7 bedrooms, all with their own en-suites. This venue also has the added luxury of a private hot tub on the terrace.

Take a walk to the local pub in Carsington village, or spend the evening in one of the many restaurants in Wirksworth that is just a short taxi ride away. Alternatively take advantage of our network of caterers, bartenders and activity providers and let them come to you. We can arrange a 3 course meal for your group, that is even cleaned up afterwards! The dinner is priced at £39.50 per person, and can be added onto your booking as an extra.
